Staff and cashier

Hiring

In the computer’s Team app, choose a player near the shop and send them an offer with a salary. They have 30 seconds to accept. A shop can have up to 4 employees (Config.Employees.max).

Permissions

Each employee gets only what you give them:

Permission	Lets them
Restock	Carry boxes, stock the shelves, load the trunk, pick up at the wholesaler and clean broken products
Orders	Order stock and return it, paid from the shop’s account
Prices	Change the selling prices
Till	See the sales, deposit and withdraw money
Renovate	Move and place furniture (the shop closes meanwhile)
Cashier	Work a register, empty the drawers, use the safe, call the armored van and open the locked display cases

Salaries

Employees are paid from the shop’s account for the time they actually work near the shop (every 15 minutes by default). You set each salary, up to maxSalary.

Working the register

Any register can be self-service or have a cashier. A staff member with the Cashier permission presses Attend register behind the counter.

1. The customer leaves the products on the counter.
2. The cashier scans them one by one (E). The customer sees each line and the total on the register screen.
3. The cashier presses Charge. The customer chooses a tip with the mouse wheel (0, 5 or 10 %) and pays in cash (E) or by card (G).
4. The cashier bags the purchase and the customer takes the bag. The products go into their inventory.

The tip goes straight to the cashier. Each sale is saved with who charged it and the tip, and appears in the Till app.
