Cash and robberies
- Cash payments stay in the register drawer of each register.
- Staff empty the drawers into a money bag they carry in their hand, and store it in the safe in the back room.
- The armored van (requested from the Till app) comes to the shop, a guard walks to the safe, collects the money and, a while later, it reaches the shop’s account minus a small fee.
Cash that is not collected can be stolen.
Robbing a register
Section titled “Robbing a register”Without the Cashier permission, walk behind the counter to a register nobody is attending and force it with a lockpick: a timing minigame where you hit the right zone several times. Each failure can break the tool.
When it gives way, the camera goes down to the drawer, which pops open full of bills. Click the piles with the mouse to grab them one by one, and press Backspace to run with what you have: whatever you leave stays in the register. The loot is paid as markedbills (QBCore, Qbox) or black money (ESX).
Only one robber at a time: while someone is forcing a register or emptying its drawer, nobody else can force it. Other players see the robber at the register with their hands in the till.
Cracking the safe
Section titled “Cracking the safe”With a stethoscope (it is not used up), crack the safe in the back room: turn the dial with A / D or the mouse wheel, listen for the clicks and set each number with E. The clicks only get louder near the right number while you turn in the right direction, there are false clicks, and turning too fast you hear nothing. Three wrong numbers jam the safe and alert the police. It is quiet, slow and not forgiving with rushing.
The police receive an alert through your dispatch script, and the owner is notified. The minimum police on duty, the cooldowns and the rewards are in Config.Robbery, and the dispatch, inventory and minigames are adapted in bridge/.
Robbing an SL-Courier courier
Section titled “Robbing an SL-Courier courier”With SL-Courier, the thief can force a courier’s vehicle and take boxes of your order out of it. The thief gets the products in each box, and the wholesaler makes it up to you like in van robberies: it resends what was stolen for free or refunds you (Config.Stock.delivery.heist.compensation). Whatever is not stolen reaches the door as usual. You and your staff are notified. Furniture orders can’t be stolen.
Shoplifting
Section titled “Shoplifting”| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Hide a product (H) | It goes under your jacket. Staff who see you do it get a discreet warning |
| Walk out with an unpaid product in your hands | The door alarm sounds, the light turns red and the police and the owner are alerted |
| Anti-theft gates | Products with a security tag set them off even when hidden |
| Peel the security tag (J) | Turn the product to find the tag and peel it off with the mouse. Rushing tears it. Liquor bottles have hard tags that need a magnet |
Broken products
Section titled “Broken products”Products can break: shot at, knocked off the shelf when someone runs into it, or dropped. Broken glass and liquid stay on the floor until they are cleaned. Every loss is recorded in the Losses app with its cost, and the shop can take out insurance that covers part of it.
