Restocking

Products come in boxes. Order them from the computer’s Order app and choose how they arrive.

Ways to receive an order

Delivery	How it works
To the door	A delivery van leaves the boxes stacked at the shop’s door. Carry them inside.
To the storage room	The boxes appear on the racks in the back room (or the lower storage room).
Wholesale pickup	Cheaper: drive to the wholesale warehouse, load the boxes into your vehicle’s trunk and bring them yourself.

With SL-Courier (sold separately) and couriers on shift, home deliveries of products and furniture are made by a player: they pick the boxes up at the wholesaler and leave them at the door, each one in its spot. If nobody takes it in time, the usual van brings it. It is set up in Config.Stock.delivery.courier. At the wholesaler, couriers have dispatch bays of their own (Config.Stock.wholesale.courierBays), across the yard from the pickup bays: each order waits for its courier on a pallet.

Every box says where it goes (“Box · Drinks”, “Box · Drinks · Snacks”…), so a full storage room is easy to sort.

Stocking the shelves

1. Pick up a box (E) from the door, a rack or the trunk.
2. Walk to a shelf or fridge and press E on a slot: a unit of the product goes onto the shelf. Hold E to keep going.
3. An empty slot takes whatever product you are carrying. A slot that already has a product only takes more of the same.

Each slot shows its product and how many units are left. Products are real objects: customers see exactly what is on the shelf.

The Storage app

Shows every box in the shop, where it is (door, back room, lower storage room, a vehicle) and what each one holds.

State shops

State shops restock by themselves every so often. Admins can force a wave with /slshops_restock.
