Changelog

All releases of SL-Interact, newest first.

Fixes based on what you told us.

Target scripts

  • More faithful ox_target bridge: canInteract and onSelect get the exact point you aim at, the distance and the bone, and each option’s distance, offset, offsetSize and absoluteOffset are honoured. Scripts that check which part of a vehicle you aim at (the sides and ladder of a fire truck) now work.
  • What several scripts add to the same vehicle, ped or object shows together in one label: the ox_inventory trunk is no longer hidden behind keys or other scripts.
  • You can keep using ox_target: new Config.Bridge option. By default ('auto'), if ox_target, qb-target or qtarget are running, SL-Interact leaves their scripts to them and only shows its own.
  • Fixed: two ox_target options without a name and with the same label replaced each other.

Alt

  • New Config.Reveal.mode option. 'hold' by default, like ox_target: only while you hold Alt. With 'toggle', the 1.0.0 behaviour: tap it and it stays open; tapping Alt again closes it right away, and looking away closes it sooner (Config.Reveal.closeDelay).
  • Only what you can use gets highlighted: anything without options for you (another job’s, or ones its script won’t let you use right now) is no longer highlighted when you look at it.

Interactions panel

  • Each area of a vehicle has its own rule: configuring one no longer changes the others. If two options share a label, the second one shows as “label #2”.
  • Vehicle rules apply to every vehicle of that model, wherever it spawns, and aren’t lost when the script creates its areas again.

Other fixes

  • With a high or far camera, your own character covered the points right in front of you (a house door).
  • If a script added options to a character model, players with that model got their own character highlighted.

First public release.

Interactions

  • Points with a label, a status tag, a badge and one key per action (E, G, H by default). Keys that can’t be used turn red with the reason.
  • Three ways to show a point: when close, when looked at, or while holding Alt.
  • Menus with submenus, prices, amounts chosen with the mouse wheel, hold-to-use, confirmations, descriptions and item pictures.
  • Vehicles: a menu for the whole vehicle, and points on each door handle, the trunk and the hood that move with them when they open.
  • Job, gang and item conditions checked by SL-Interact itself, for QBCore, Qbox and ESX.

Target scripts

  • Runs scripts made for ox_target, qb-target and qtarget without changing them, including escrowed ones.

Admin tools

  • Interactions panel (/slinteract_admin): every interaction on the server by script, on a map of GTA. Rename them, change keys and conditions, or turn them off without code.
  • Require Alt for everything and whitelist the scripts or interactions that show directly.
  • No-code creator with eight templates: NPC shops, vending machines, elevators, job lockers and more. Charge money, take and give items, animations, teleports and events, all checked on the server.
  • Live style editor (/slinteract_style) with eleven themes, colors, shapes, fonts, sounds and icons. Designs can be shared as a code.

Developers

  • Client exports for points, entities, models and every vehicle, ped, object or player, with addMany / updateMany for hundreds at once. See API.
