Configuration

Everything is in sl_shops/config.lua. Every setting has a comment next to it. These are the sections you will want to look at first.

Config.Locale = 'en' -- 'en' or 'es'

Texts are in locales/en.json and locales/es.json. To add a language, copy one, translate it and set Config.Locale to its name.

Config.Framework = 'auto' -- or 'qb', 'qbx', 'esx'
Config.Inventory = 'auto' -- or 'qb', 'ox', 'qs', 'urantix'

auto detects them. Change it only if you run two at once.

Config.ItemImages is where the shop screens (boxes, bays, the computer) find each item’s picture: 'auto' uses your inventory’s folder, or write your own path with %s for the item name ('nui://my_inventory/web/images/%s.png'), or false to show the product names instead.

Setting What it does
Config.Shops The 24/7s: where each one is, mode = 'sale' (for sale, with its price) or 'auto' (state shop)
Config.Liquor.shops The liquor stores, same format
Config.Ltd.shops The LTD gas stations, same format plus their pumps
Config.InteriorUpgrades Price of the two lower floors of the 24/7 (sales floor and storage room)
Config.Ownership Shops per player (maxPerPlayer), what selling to the state returns (sellBack) and the maximum price of a transfer

Config.Products lists every product: its item, its 3D model, the selling price and what it costs the owner (cost). Config.Categories groups them.

Owners can change the selling price on the shop computer, between Config.Pricing.min and the base price times Config.Pricing.maxMultiplier.

With ox_inventory, ox_inventory does it with the items of install/ox_inventory/items.lua. With qb-inventory or qs-inventory, SL-Shops makes every product’s item usable: the player eats or drinks it holding the product’s own model, and hunger or thirst goes up (qb-core / qbx_core status, esx_status on ESX).

Setting What it does
Config.Consumables.enabled false to use your own consumables script instead
Config.Consumables.categories Per category: eat or drink, how much hunger or thirst, how long it takes and its alcohol
Config.Consumables.alcohol Beers and liquor make you drunk (camera sway, blurred view, drunk walk from 3 units); it wears off by itself. Each part can be turned off

Config.Builder.catalog is the furniture catalog of the renovation mode, with the price of each piece. Liquor stores and LTDs choose which pieces they offer in Config.Liquor.catalog and Config.Ltd.catalog.

The furniture a shop comes with when bought and the furniture of state shops are better changed in game: /slshops_admin → Default furniture → Edit.

Config.Finishes has the floor and wall finishes and their default prices. Admins can change the prices in game: /slshops_admin → Shop finishes.

Config.Employees = {
max = 4, -- employees per shop
payInterval = 15, -- minutes worked per payment
maxSalary = 500,
defaultSalary = 100,
}

Config.Cash sets the cash in the registers and the safe. Config.Cash.armored is the armored van that takes it to the bank: its fee, and arrive, deposit and cooldown (recommended: 45 s, 120 s and 10 min).

Setting What it does
Config.Robbery.minPolice On-duty police needed to rob (0 = not needed)
Config.Robbery.policeJobs Jobs that count as police
Config.Robbery.reward What the robber gets: 'markedbills', 'item' (one item per $) or 'cash'
Config.Robbery.dispatch Police alerts: 'auto' detects your dispatch script
Config.Robbery.register Tool needed, minigame, cooldown and alert of the registers. grab sets the drawer: money per pile, piles and time
Config.Robbery.safe Tool needed, numbers of the combination, cooldown and alert of the safe
Config.Theft Hiding products, the door alarm and the security tags
Config.Breakage Products breaking when shot or knocked over, and the insurance

Police alerts, the reward item and the minigames are changed in the bridge/ folder, so they fit your dispatch and your other scripts.

Setting What it does
Config.Ltd.fuel Your fuel script: 'auto' or its name. 'none' = LTDs without pumps
Config.Ltd.pricePerLitre Default price per litre (owners can change it)
Config.Ltd.costPerLitre What a litre costs the shop (for the profit)
Config.Ltd.priceLimits The lowest and highest price an owner can set
Config.Ltd.prepay Minimum and maximum prepay, the amount for “fill up” and when unused money is refunded
Config.Ltd.refuel Litres per second and tank size per vehicle class
Config.Debug = false

Leave it off on a live server. When on, it adds developer commands and performance meters.
