Player flow
Section titled “Player flow”First time
Section titled “First time”- The player opens the marketplace.
- If they have no profile, they create a shop.
- They set language, name, bio and colour.
- They start publishing or buying.
Publishing an item
Section titled “Publishing an item”- Choose the item and inventory.
- Set the listing type.
- Set a price or auction parameters.
- Choose category and rarity.
- Attach images.
- Publish.
Buying
Section titled “Buying”- Open a listing.
- Choose the delivery mode.
- Confirm the purchase.
- Receive it by mailbox, meetup, NPC or in-person trade.
Interacting with the seller
Section titled “Interacting with the seller”- Open the listing chat.
- Send a message, offer or barter.
- Accept or reject proposals.
- Leave a rating when appropriate.
Photos and camera
Section titled “Photos and camera”The client includes a free camera to capture product images.
Features:
- Free movement.
- Free rotation.
- Configurable maximum distance.
- Upload to Imgbb from the server.
- Up to 4 images per listing.
The per-listing chat lets players:
- write messages
- send money offers
- send items in a proposal
- accept barter proposals
- accept reverse auction offers
- mark messages as read
- group conversations by listing
Favourites, follows and wishlist
Section titled “Favourites, follows and wishlist”Favourites
Section titled “Favourites”Users can mark listings as favourites to come back to them and follow them more easily.
Follow
Section titled “Follow”Players can follow sellers to see their activity and new listings.
Wishlist
Section titled “Wishlist”The user can create alerts for:
- a specific item
- an optional maximum price
- a one-time or permanent notification
Public profile and storefront
Section titled “Public profile and storefront”The public profile shows:
- shop name
- banner
- avatar
- short bio
- long description
- sales
- reputation
- average rating
- reviews
- active and sold listings
- ratings
- product list
It also supports:
- pinning featured listings inside the storefront
- active / sold / ratings / about tabs
History and reputation
Section titled “History and reputation”The system stores a history of events such as:
- listing created
- listing sold
- listing cancelled
- listing expired
- bump
- purchase
- auction won
Reputation is recalculated from ratings and sales, and the seller’s statistics are updated.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”The refund system lets players:
- request a refund within a time window
- respond as the seller
- approve or reject
- auto-approve after a certain number of hours
- force a refund as an admin
It can also return money and/or the item to the mailbox depending on the resolution.
