Who we are
ScriptLab makes FiveM scripts and runs scriptlab.info. We decide what is stored about you and why, so we're the ones responsible for it. For anything about your data, write to us on our Discord server.
What we store
Your account (when you log in with Discord)
- Your Discord user ID, display name, username and avatar.
- Which of our scripts you own, read from your purchases and from your buyer roles on our Discord server, and whether you're in that server.
- When you created your account and when you last opened it.
Discord also shares the email of your Discord account with our login provider. We don't use it, show it or send you anything. The login provider also keeps the IP address and browser of your active sessions, for security. We never get your Discord password, your messages or your other servers.
Your purchases
When you buy on our Tebex store, Tebex tells us about the payment and we keep:
- The transaction ID, what you bought, the amount and currency, the date and its status (paid, refunded...).
- Your Cfx.re account ID and username, the account you bought with.
We don't keep your email, your name, your IP address or your billing details. If you link your Cfx.re account (or buy while logged in), we connect those purchases to your ScriptLab account, including earlier ones.
Your rewards
- Your points and level, worked out from your purchases and your approved reviews.
- Your coupons: the code, the discount, when it was given, when it expires and when you used it.
- The Discord roles we give you for your level, like early access.
Your reviews
- Your rating and text, the script, the dates, and your Discord name, username, avatar and badges. Once approved, the review is public on scriptlab.info.
- When someone translates a review, the translation is saved so the next reader gets it straight away.
A log of what happens
To look after the store and answer you when you write to us, we keep a log of what happens with accounts and purchases: when an account is created or opened (once an hour at most), level-ups, coupons given and used, a Cfx.re account being linked, and payments, refunds and disputes. Only the ScriptLab team can see it.
Why we use it
- To run your account and rewards, which you ask for when you log in: your level, your coupons, your roles.
- To show reviews from verified buyers, which is why your Discord name and avatar go with them.
- To keep payments in order: refunds and chargebacks take points away, and we need the purchase record to handle them.
- To help you and look after the store: the log tells us what happened when something goes wrong.
Who else handles it
We use a few services to run the site. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase is our login provider and stores the accounts, purchases, coupons and reviews, on servers in the EU (Ireland).
- Discord handles the login and our server roles.
- Tebex handles the store and the payments, under its own privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts the site and counts page visits anonymously, without cookies.
- DeepL or Google Translate get the text of a review only when someone asks to translate it.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts and YouTube plays the trailers when you press play, so your browser connects to them.
What stays in your browser
The site saves a few things in your browser's local storage, not in cookies: your login session, your level and points (so the top bar can show them), which level-up celebrations you've already seen, and your Tebex basket while you buy. Logging out removes your session and your level. Nothing here is used to track you.
How long we keep it
- Your account, points, coupons and reviews: until you delete your account.
- The log: 12 months, or until you delete your account, whichever comes first.
- Purchase records: we keep them after you delete your account, no longer linked to it, because refunds, chargebacks and accounting need them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it or to stop using it, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
To delete everything at once, open your account and use Delete my account at the bottom: it removes your account, points, coupons, reviews and your part of the log straight away. Your Tebex purchases and your Discord roles stay as they are. For anything else, write to us on Discord.
Changes
If we start storing something new, we'll update this page and the date at the top before we do.
